Vibrant Summertime LGBTQ Arboretum Engagement
When Stephanie (she/her) and Jessica (she/her) were just starting to feel the sparks between them, they’d meet up every day on their lunch break downtown in Boston and have Arnold Palmers together and chat. It only felt fitting for them to bring that same pastime to their engagement shoot, where they shared this dynamic that felt like both lovebirds and lifelong friends.
I didn’t have to give these two any direction at all, barely — when it comes to affection and being openly and madly in love, they’ve got that down pat.
Jessica and Stephanie met through mutual friends in the Jamaica Plain queer community, which I know to be a vibrant and welcoming space.
Having met these two for the first time on our shoot, I would also describe Stephanie and Jessica to be just that: vibrant and welcoming.
We enjoyed a summer stroll through the Arboretum, chasing the shade and enjoying the views. (And seeing some amazing dogs, too)
I’m very excited for their celebration this October, and to meet more of their friends, families, and loved ones. I always get so excited to see inquiries from queer couples, and am thrilled that the algorithm is bringing my work to the forefront of the LGBTQIA+ community in Boston.
