Sam and Connor — how can I possibly sum these two up in a bloggable format? I guess that’s part of my job though, so here goes nothin’.

I met Sam through my creative photography brand CHEZPHOTO several years ago when she booked me for a photoshoot, and from there we became fast friends. I’m so glad we did! Over the years of knowing her, Sam has become one of my favorite people. She’s hilarious, creative, ambitious and talented…so when I eventually met Connor, I was stoked to see she had someone just as amazing as her for a partner. Connor is a total sweetheart and also just as goofy as Sam, with an enthsuastic curiosity and thoughtfulness I really admire. Together, these two are a class act. Whenever I hang out with them, I leave with my face sore from all the laughter.

Connor proposed to Sam during their recent trip to Japan, a lifelong dream for them both. Under the cherry blossoms, Connor popped the question (and no I’m not tearing up just thinking about it. Stop judging me.)

These two keep each other inspired - and I can tell they are so at home with each other, wherever they are.

Plus, they’re damn good in front of the camera.

But you don’t need me to tell you that…see for yourself! We shot this engagement at the Newburyport Studio, a gorgeous creative venue right outside Boston; it’s perfect for photoshoots, events, workshops and whatever you can bring to the table. I was so thrilled to be able to work in this gorgeous space with equally as gorgeous people!
