Q: DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

My business is based in Boston, but I photograph weddings throughout New England and beyond. I frequently travel to the Carolinas as well.

Q: HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK WITH YOU?

Really, really easy.

My clients frequently remark on the ease of working with me, and that I am accessible for all types of people- whether you're familiar with photography or this is your first time stepping in front of a lens, I will know exactly how to work with you as a couple to get the most out of your investment. My sessions are always genuine, candid, & fun! I am extensively experienced with making my client's presence in front of a camera effortless.

Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS' WORK?

A: I blend my love of color, light, and emotion to create powerful images unbound by four corners. With my refined sense of visuals, and a passion for telling stories, the magical moments and narrative of your special day will flow seamlessly with each shot.

Q: HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE GET BACK FROM OUR WEDDING DAY?

Depending on your package, weddings can yield 200-400 images.

Q: HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING UNTIL WE GET OUR PICTURES BACK?

Please allow 4-6 weeks turnaround for edited wedding images, and 2-3 weeks for engagement images.

Q: HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK YOU?

Most couples book about 6-8 months before their wedding. I book some weddings as far as 12 months in advance, and also as little as 2 or 3 months ahead. Please feel free to contact me with your date and I will see what we can work out!

Q: WILL WE GET THE COPYRIGHTS TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?

A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a full copyright release.

Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR DATE?

A: Send me an email at rileywestv@gmail.com and I can give you more information on this. A 50% retainer and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. One month prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.

Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?

A: I highly recommend ordering prints through my selected professional vendors. The difference in quality is HUGE when it comes to ordering through a local printer and a professional lab, so I do encourage clients to let me take care of ordering prints for them.

Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

A: I use all of the latest Canon equipment. All of my pieces have a backup in the rare event that anything should occur to one of my cameras or lenses.
