Rooted in Community: An Earthy and Cozy LGBTQ Boston Engagement Session
Shira (they/them) and Colin (he/him) are getting married in New Hampshire next year, and I’m so excited to be on board with them. They have gone full speed ahead with the fully-LGBTQ-vendor-takeover for their wedding — and I think that’s so cool. But they don’t stop there with their support for the local queer community. These two are extremely dedicated and invested contributors to the local arts. Shira works as a director and dramaturg and Colin is an experienced stage manager.
Together they invest their time and skill in showcasing the talent, thoughts, and works of the LGBTQIA+ artists and activists in the greater Boston area. Their dedication is evident in the work they do, and I can tell they build off each other, inspire each other, and most of all, support and love one another.
I’m extremely honored to be a part of their vision for their wedding day. We shot this along the Middlesex Fells pond right as the Fall foliage began to light the rocky shoreline in russet and gold.
