Lifestyle East Boston "Eastie" Engagement Session at Piers Park

Em (she/her) and Bryce (he/him) met each other at Northeastern University and have been attached at the hip for six years now. Bryce popped the question during a recent trip to London this year. While they’re fans of traveling, these two are self-proclaimed homebodies, but there’s nothin’ wrong with that. Finding someone you can create a home with is what real love is all about! And these two have a cozy little nest in Eastie with their cat, Hunky Dory.

Bryce and Em enjoy a good Bad Movie Night with friends, vegging out on the couch playing video games, and sampling the local resturant and bar flair that East Boston has to offer. When they told me about their lifestyle, I wanted to convey that in their engagement session.

We had originally scheduled this shoot the day before, but we moved it last minute, and I’m glad we did, because Hurricane Lee had other ideas. The sky was cloudless the following day, which was a perfect opportunity for cocktails on the patio with hand-picked mint they grow in their garden. Hunky Dory joined us for some lounging before we headed to Piers Park.

Piers Park really does have one of the best views of Boston there is to offer, with a gleaming skyline across the glistening waters. I’m excited to see the continued development for the area as it expands!
