Autumnal, Woodsy LGBTQ Wedding

Shira (they/them) and Colin (he/him) were wed at a lakeside summer camp in New Hampshire. They both have a deep love for the outdoors and sought to share that with their many loved ones on their wedding day — and boy did they succeed! It was a day of music, joy, song and dance — and really, really good food. And, the rain even stopped right in time for them! What more could one ask for on their wedding day?

Their attention to detail was astounding and vastly creative. I loved the table “numbers” that spotlighted a different mountain they’ve hiked, hand-drawn and lettered. Their suits were tailored to perfection and the accessories were on POINT. These two got married in style, for sure. It was a pleasure exploring the campground with them during portraits, laughing by the lake on the sand. It’s moments like those that I truly cherish with the couples that book me, and I knew that even though it was quite overcast, the colors would really pop once I started editing these. And I wasn’t wrong :) The just-on-the-cusp-of-Autumn tones came alive in these photos, and, being lovers of all things colorful, Shira and Colin fit right into it all.

I laughed, I smiled so big my face hurt, and yes…I may have even cried! Good thing I hide behind a camera most of the time… Thank you Shira, Colin, and your family and friends for welcoming me into your joyous orbit as your wedding photographer.
