Eva (she/her) and Jonson (he/him) were wed at Garage B at the Speedway in Boston on a beautiful Fall day. Rich, velvety tones and vibrant florals accompanied the raw texture of Garage B’s sprawling, naturally-lit space. These two and all of their guests had one thing in massive common: UTTER STYLE. It was a photographer’s field day to capture.
Read MoreI’ve been waiting with bated breath for Marlowe and Rae’s wedding day. Ever since meeting them at their enchanted forest tea party engagement session, I knew this would be something absolutely spectacular. These two have been working tirelessly to create an experience for themselves and their guests that would be unforgettable, beautiful, drenched in detail, and fantastical in nature. Marlowe and Rae both designed their ensembles, as well as made them by hand. Their first look was drenched in sunlight through the trees by a fountain, where they could both enjoy the fruits of their labor coming together beautifully.
Read MoreShira (they/them) and Colin (he/him) were wed at a lakeside summer camp in New Hampshire. They both have a deep love for the outdoors and sought to share that with their many loved ones on their wedding day — and boy did they succeed! It was a day of music, joy, song and dance — and really, really good food. And, the rain even stopped right in time for them! What more could one ask for on their wedding day?
Read MoreLaughter erupts over the swath of white chairs dotting the lawn at Harman’s Herb Farm. What the Studio Audience does not know is that in another minute they will be crying. (What the wedding photographer does not know is that the hanky they snatched from the strategically-placed-hanky-basket at the greeting line will not, after all, be exclusively used for polishing their lens.)
Bet you’ve never seen a slam poetry reading at a wedding. Bet you’ve never seen several. But that’s just the way Truj and Brian roll.
Read MoreCan’t say I’ve ever seen a first dance to a classic metal band’s song, but Sam (she/her) and Connor (he/him) are special like that. And they made it look real good, too. They even walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of this song, “Life Eternal” by Swedish metal band, Ghost.
“It’s our wedding leitmotif,” they said, which I found unbelievably cool. But that’s just what Sam and Connor are: unbelievably cool.
Read MoreI met Nate at Emerson College back when we were in school - it’s kinda crazy how time flies, thinking about it. Amidst marketing major blues, Nate was a pal that I could always sit next to and crack jokes with (I mean, totally pay total one hundred percent attention, totally!). So when he asked if I could photograph his wedding with his beautiful bride CJ, I was really touched and excited.
Read MoreHaving never photographed an Indian wedding before, I have to admit: no amount of studying (which, I promise I did!) could truly prepare me for the action that filled the day. Every single facet of the rituals were composed with a thoughtful precision unlike anything I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot of weddings).
Read MoreMelanie and James were wed on a beautiful cusp-of-Autumn day in the Arnold Arboretum among their closest friends. Having put off their initial wedding plans due to Covid, they decided to go the stress-free, easy route: elope by 3, hit the bar with their pals by 5.
I gotta say…they know what’s up.
If there’s one thing about Lauren and Brendan–wait, nevermind. I was going to say: “They know how to party”. But it’s way more than just One Thing with These Two. Their wedding day was a blast from start to finish. The vibes were on, the company was excellent, the jokes were funny… and they were both so in LOVE.
The unbridled joy on Nadia and Scott’s faces throughout the entirety of their wedding day speaks volumes for the magnitude of their love - both for each other and everyone who shared the day with them. A beautiful July day at the Villa at Ridder Country Club set the stage for laughter, tears, and honestly, the best first dance I have ever seen in my life
Read MoreElisabeth and Scott are like Pam and Jim…timeless, adorable, aDORKable, and totally in love. They, indeed, met at The Office together and never looked back. They were gung-ho about having an intimate, beautiful wedding that was one thing and one thing only: EVERYTHING AUTUMN.
Read MoreJennah and Jeff’s day was a seamless stretch of joy from morning until evening, and I was elated to capture it from the Boston Park Plaza to the Boston Public Library. Timeless and classically romantic, the BPL courtyard was a breathtaking stage for these two to tie the knot among friends and family that traveled across land and sea to witness.
Read MoreThis was my first time shooting at Artists for Humanity, and it definitely won’t be my last. The rental fee for events at AFH go directly to funding the employment of over 250 under-resourced creative Boston teens annually in art and design. Art adorns the walls that wrap around the venue and lead to industrial garage doors that let in soft, natural light. The fact Matt and Erica chose this as their Boston wedding venue speaks volumes to what they value, and I was so grateful to be a part of their day.
Rebecca and Adam were wed at Cambridge City Hall in February 2019 surrounded by close friends and family. Cambridge City Hall welcomed us kindly and gave the couple a beautiful room for their little ceremony, with classic hardwood throughout that warmed the room up on this cold winter day. The officiant was also incredibly kind and dedicated to her work.
Read MoreKait and Miles were wed on an astrologically auspicious day at the birth of summer in the Berkshires. Their wedding day was gorgeous, and I was particularly fond of capturing the ritualistic aspects they blended into their ceremony from Buddhist practice.
Justin and Taylor share the same sort of interests I do, like Final Fantasy and RPGs. It’s always so fun to work with people who I can relate to in terms of my nerdy interests. A reception filled with video game music is my kind of wedding. And crazily enough, not the first kind of reception I’ve shot in the past year! Probably the third, honestly. How do I keep getting so lucky? I hope to keep up the streak!
Read MoreOff a small island near Harpswell, Liz and Adam said their I Do’s surrounded by friends and family. A beautiful summer sky stretched over the waters and the woods as they danced and celebrated among their loved ones. Their reception was filled with local small-business fare, from lobsters to homemade pies…that they cut with a sword? Epic.
Read MoreWhen I met Julie and Jason, I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding - so when they chose me, I was elated. When I see them together, I see two people very deeply in love, very dedicated, very fun-loving, and very open with each other. Transparency is the backbone of a healthy relationship, and their openness with each other sets a stage for understanding and empathy.
Read MoreMelisa and Jad chose the Tower Hill Botanic Garden for their wedding day, and it was a gorgeous venue for their ceremony and reception. The late-summer sun was a stunning backdrop for some dreamy portraits of them as newlyweds walking through the field, with the lake in the background. Their day had no shortage of love and beauty to capture.
